3DTotal:
Hi Lee, Can you tell us a bit about your current location and work and your path that had led you here?

Lee: Currently I live and work in Nottingham (not out of choice ; ) for a small computer

games firm producing a Football MMO. I am the lead character artist on the project. I am in charge of looking after other artists and I create and manage the hundreds and hundreds of digital assets used in the character creation pipeline. I first began using a computer back in the late 80's with my first ever computer the VIC 20, moving onto Amigas, using Deluxe Paint then Lightwave 3.5. I finally got my first PC in 95 and started to teach myself how to use 3D software, while getting part time jobs like factory work or gardening to pay for the equipment it lead me onto my first job at a Games Company in '98. From there on I have done freelance work for companies like CLIMAX (who published my work in EDGE at age 19) to creating environments and FMV sequences for a games firm called Kuju Entertainment in Surrey. I know own and run my own business called Infinite-Realties ltd which I run part time.

3DTotal: That sounds like dedication from an early age Lee! Was it just a hobby in the early days or did you see the potential for your career?
Lee: Oh dedication! Maybe more like an obsession, even from an early age I used to look at what ever
toys I had or whatever cartoons were about and always used to think there must be more out there!
Better! I couldn’t wait for technology to advance so I could play with it. It was always a hobby I think,
back in the early to mid 90's it was hard to get into any kind of industry as there wasn’t anything around
like CGTalk at the time and any new art that used to be available would only appear in monthly art magazines or games magazines like Amiga format, Edge or Computer Arts etc.

So at the begining I did it for fun but always dreamed of working at a film studio or something now I know better. Having your business is much more fun ; )
