Now let's put the handle on the bonnet of the car. Create a 2 x 3 plane in the front view and shape it like shown.


Now extrude the green edges as shown. Since you are doing all of this from the front viewport, the geometry is completely flat in the perspective view. You hace to adjust it so that it bends along the hood.
