"Vray Lightning Tutorial" by Linda Ferroni

Vray lightning tutorial to follow this tutorial you must have the Vray plugin for 3ds max yo can download a free version here.

In this tutorial i will show you one way you can use to light an interior with Vray as your renderer.
Textures are from 3dtotal clean texures cd.
Because we are going to concentrate on the lightning the modelleing and the texturing of the scene is not going to be detailed.

Sides of sofa:

This is very simple just look at the images and you will understand one spline (line) with thickness and renderable checked.

Perspective

Couchins and pillows for sofa:
Just a box with editable poly and chamferd edges twice. And after that i made some cuts to make the wrinkles.

And here are some of the other objects in the scene.

Pillow:

started with a box that i added a editable poly modifier on, applied tesselate and started to move some vertex when i was happy with the shape of the pillow i did som cuts for the wrinkles. And the pillow i used the same technique.

Side table:

This is also a very simple modell made out of boxes and splines.
These are extruded splines with a editable poly modifier added and after i chamferd the edges. The rest of the side table is very simple just boxes with some extrusion and chamferd edges.
