From
what you have learned perform the previous operation.
After
the smooth shift, instead of moving backwards scale them from 2 directions (marked
blue).
The
result.
In
a new layer create this poly to make the car's door latch.
Drill
in x axis...
and
select the projected faces and smooth shift, move inwards.Do it in symmetry mode.
Back
to the layer where you have created the door latch stencil, scaledown and delete
one poly, your stencil should look like the image on the left.
We
will drill again but with the modified stencil, assign a different material, mine
i set it to glass.
Now
select the drilled latch with the glass material and smooth shift them, move outwards
with symmetry enable, now re assign default material to the temporary assigned
glass material.
Your
project should look like the image on the left.
Go
ahead and continue the rest, the image shows i have created a stencil at the top
view and a stencil from the window frame at its right view.
Project
them one at a time in two different axis, one on y and the other on x axis. You
might want them to be on separate layer or just use the hide and unhide function
as you need one of them for the drilling operation.
The
result should be like this image.
Go
to the layer where you have kept your window and other subparts.
Make
stencils and drill them to produce plastic section on the window.
