In point mode select these loop of points in the windshield section of the car.
Extend,scale and assign glass material tothe newly created faces.
Select these row of points and extend and move twice untill it reaches the bottom most part of the windshield.
In the side view scale the last extended point holding from the points marked blue, untill the other end of points reaches the window shield profile.
Go to the next step...
Weld this group of points one at a time in order..
Do it on the opposite side.
If you have disabled Symmetry, press it again and move the points marked blue until the windshield edge touches the plastic portion where the wiper rest (in red line).
Select these points and extend.
The newly created polys must lay just where it should be, look at the image if you have done it the same way.
Now select the faces and perform bandsaw put 20% to its value.Deselect the upper portion of the selected faces and assign trim color to the ones left selected.
Deselect all and press c for copy, now press the next layer and paste a copy of the car we have modeled.
Safety first!
We have duplicated the car and preserved the original for future purposes.
Select symmetry and select the entire under portion and assign "trim" material.
