Complete Shorts
The first section, 'The complete shorts' is packed with non commercial projects from independent animators.

Andrzej Rudz
A Journey over 6324 Miles, through amazing landscapes, surreal backdrops and some incredible compositing. Total escapism.

Stefan Minning
"Bagel 2" is inspired by the recent European mission to Mars, where a little robot called Beagle 2 wasn't quite up to the task and the Americans once again, took all the fame. This film shows Stefan's take on the whole situation...

Carlos Fernandez Puertolas
"It's the Dog's bath time and anyone who owns a dog will know what that means! Overacting and playing dead to get his own way, this cute animals final revenge.. We love the characters in this one!

Manuel Macha, Florian
Bokksakk is simply the names of the two characters bokk and sakk, two stupid Aliens in an even more stupid short movie...

Arqui300
Cosmix is a brand new animation from portuguese studio 'Arqui300'. Follow the adventures of a love-sick space wanderer...

Lee Lanier,Lee Lanier, Jeffrey Dates
Dead Guy and Dead Gal find themselves in a surreal, animated Dead World, where lost souls try to make their earthly desires come to life.

Alex Mateo
Demons will be mischeivous, and a rock near a cliff edge is just too tempting. However, the abnormal rules of gravity in hell musn't be overlooked...

Manuel Macha, Leif Arne Petersen, Paul Driesden, Alexander Hupperich
Acclaimed worldwide for it's stunning special effects, a cleverly composited film from those boys at the German Film School once again.

Patrick Beaulieu
Inspired by Pixar's 'For The Birds' and Blue Sky studio's 'Scrat' from 'ice age', the freaky bird makes it's debut in this great slapstick animation.

Alexis Wanneroy
Toilet Humour with a surreal cast of characters. Hilariously funny with a simple storyline. When there is only one roll of toilet paper left, there can only be one survivor...

Terry Ziegelman
Terry's take on the 'Frankenstein' style horror / comedy. Can Pooh help Dr Entropicus bring his beloved pet Doggie back to life? Depends on how many volts are used.....

Kotoc
This, the longest short on the DVD is the highly original story of a man living in a dull, grey world, only to be changed forever into some strange angles...

Simon Flesser, Kjell Emanuelsson,
Mattias Jervill, Daniel Law
The Video 'Light The Torch' was made for the Swedish metal band Soilwork as a non commercial School Project by four Swedish students studying computer graphics. Great concept and incredibly stylised.

Nye Warburton
Every good DVD has a love story, here's ours in this quirky animation about the difficult time robots have on a magnetised planet...

Martin Murphy
Tom (the 3Dtotal Boss) cant help but giggle at this one. The story of a fish presented with lunch, too much lunch...

Laurent Caniero
A great mix of classic storytelling with contemporary twists. Great looking, quick and witty animation.

Faraz Hameed
In a baking hot desert a man is marooned by a flat tyre. Battling the heat of the sun and loneliness of the sandy wilderness the fussy old man struggles to escape out of his predicament only to suffer a great humiliation...

Arslan Elver
A calmly excecuted example of great character animation, nice little characters and a cool sense of timing in this short about, well, a rock and a bird...

Blur Studios
Blur's second independent film also made it to the Oscar shortlist. This is Blur's most ambitious film to date and they hoped it would open Hollywood eyes to the huge possibilities of all CG sci-fi and fantasy films.

Derek Flood
"Say Cheese" - A tale of greed and fear and all you ever wanted to know about a fat little mouse and his inner demons.

Niels Jansson
Original Character design and smooth animation allowed this movie to stand out. Quirky and great to watch agin and again. Has anyone ever considered sandwhich retrieval in space? I think not...

Dallas Robinson
A very moody piece.
We love this one for looking so different to everything else on the DVD. Unique and a great way to look at using 3D for totally different results.

Erik Wemquist
What can we say about the annoying thing...He's (or It's) annoying. So annoying (it's been my desktop pattern for a while) I cant stop laughing at it! Go on, try not to laugh, I dare you...

Carlo Sansonetti
Carlo Sansonetti's web-wide project has been a great success for all involved. Anyone who has ever been an eBay freak will find this story very familiar!

Marco 'Karmyz' Carminati
No Story (as such) but an animation that just works anyway. This short contains probably the funniest alien ever to grace 3dtotal's pages. A few years old but still looking as fresh as ever!

Matt Morris
One of the more story / idea based animations on the DVD. A great original concept excecuted with a distinctive style.

Christian Bleier
Shades of good 'ole cell animation with a good 3D composite mix. Quirky ideas in this dracula spoof...

Clips & Trailers.
The second section, 'Clips, Trailers and Showreels' contains trailers and clips of commercial projects from professional studios.

Daniele Bigi
Originally was going to feature in our 'complete shorts' section of the DVD, but due to so much commercial interest (fingers crossed from all) we have the fantastic trailer featuring here.

Canny Lads Studio
Here is the trailer for the 'Canny Lad'. A stylised take on a 'boy going to war theme'. The story, as reflected in the trailer takes us from the 'comic' looking character's through to the horrors and tradgedy of war.

Marco Spitoni
Taking the themes of World War 2 and putting a whole new idea into the midst in this sci-fi mixed concept. Stunning trailer for what we hope to be a great short in the near future.

Derek Flood, Sharktaco's Studio
"Emelia is a 10 minute animated film that tells the rather strange story of a 5-year-old goth girl and the world as seen through her eyes..Trailer for the future movie featured here".

Brian Taylor
If you dont know who rustboy is then where the hell have you been for the past 3 years?!? One of the most inspiring 3D animated movies of the internet era. Some of the finished shots from the movie feature here.

Vadim Pietrzynski / Spellcraft Studios
WOW! Are we looking forward to this one! Great character animation in these animation tests for the movie.
