The team over at AXYZ Design have announced their Lifelike Architectural Rendering Contest 2014, with over $38,000 worth of prizes!

Following on from the successful Lifelike Rendering Contest in 2012, AXYZ Design have announced their 2014 competition. Artists will need to come up with creative ways to use both AXYZ Design's 3D Human Characters and Laubwerk's 3D Plants to generate awesome pieces of art.

3dtotal is proud to announce that we are one of the sponsors of this years' Lifelike 3D Architecture Contest – a contest that has a staggering $38,000 worth of prizes! And no we didn't supply them all!

Prizes include a CINEMA 4D Studio License, Masterclasses from CG School, a V-Ray license, Rendering credits from Rebusfarm, a full CINEMA 4D plug-in package, Trinity Animation publications, collections from AXZY Design and Laubwerk, and last but not least; our Crafting 3D Photorealism book, Total Textures bundle and a full-years' subscription to 3dcreative magazine. There will be a first, second and third prize as well as a top 10 of nominees who all receive prizes. And let's not forget the worldwide exposure that is invaluable for up-and-coming and established artists...

On top of all that, every entrant gets a free copy of this month's 3dcreative magazine when they download the contest materials.

AXYZ Design is also proud to have industry professionals Jeff Mottle, Tianyi Zhu, Ronen Bekerman, Michael Feuerroth, Matheus Passos and Sérgio Merêces judging the contest. With over 50-years of experience in architectural visualization between them, it is sure to be a tight contest with only the very best prevailing!

The contest will be split into 2 rounds, with the deadline for the first round on the 3 March. The top 10 will be announced on the 15 March when the second round will begin. Contestants will then be given until the 31 March to perfect their final entry
