This video tutorial shows how to use Maya 2012 and mental ray rendering with mia_physicalsun as the lighting source. I first get the file to real-world scale, disable the lens shader gamma correction, turn on Maya color management (which will gamma correct all my sRGB textures), display my renders in Maya gamma corrected, then render out 32-bit EXR files for linear composite in Nuke.
