Making Of 'The Cobra Prince'

3ds Max, V-Ray

Texturing

I used the downloadable software called 'Deep UV' and 'Texporter' to help me unwrap my model. With 'Deep UV' I modified the UV's in the space to create a wireframe layout that allowed me to easily paint in Photoshop my texture, both in 2D and 3D.

This is a sample of my texture.

For the armor, I used the shellac material in 3dsmax. This is the setting that I used for the armor material.

Lighting & Rendering

For lighting, I used 13 omni lights, 2 direct lights, and 4 Vray lights. This is the position that the lights have been set to.
