Lighting & Rendering in 3dsmax using mental ray – Interior

Software used:
3ds Max, Photoshop, mental ray

For the indirect illumination, Final Gather and little bit of Global Illumination work well. I don't use diffuse bounces (Fig.07).

I use some passes in Render Elements for compositing in Photoshop and this is the cool stuff (Fig.08).

Hello ! Very good tuturial. Any reason why I can only render camera 1 ? Camera 2 gets stuck on 91.7 photon emission. Please help !

I understand that the SA was rendered separately, for the second pass? Why not make it right in the list of render elements?

Wow, thanks man! Some little things in there I didn't even know of. This is gonna help me get my render times down by quite a lot!
