For final tweaking and textures, I got some advice from my colleague at Karakter, Henrik Bolle, and introduced some final atmospherics (Fig.21).

Having finished the image I continued to mess around with the 3D file, with no strict direction. Fig.22 - 25 show some test renders done with some area lights in mental ray and some cockpit ideas.
