Introduction

Here is a walkthrough I've made for my ZBrush hard-surface techniques. I'll be going through how I made the leg system for this UGV influenced by the wildcat and big-dog Boston dynamics designs. I cover various methods such as DynaMesh, Insert brushes, panel loops/groups loops, the Slice Curve tool and the Clip Curve tool – plus more!

Hi Tom, that is an awesome tutorial for hard surface modeling!!! Many thanks for so many useful tips. I really would appreciate to see your UV and material techniques on this project. BTW. Your deep and calm voice is a welcome contrast to the turbo modeling speed ;) Cheers Tommy XSPACE Munich
