Hahaha, nice guys ;).The movie is a bit weird though in my meaning at points in terms of story, acting and yeah, basically everything except the VFX XD. Also, the scene where they had there hand cannons could have been so much more massive ;)

Oh right, I always forget that you use Blender as well :PMe too, I can't wait to play around with the quadbots and try to render those insane sets on my machine, will be a lot of fun :)

I gotta say it's quite a solid rig, even though I never rigged anything. :Dps: I'm credited too! ;) Looking forward to this 4-dvd set! :)

It was a very cool movie, Blender Foundation did a great job with it.I was a pre-sale sponsor and therefore got my name in the credits and it was greatly fulfilling to see the project grow up right before my eyes :)I still think that this video showing off the Quadbot rig is almost more impressive than the movie itself though :P

Looks pretty nice. Anyone understand the story at all though? Doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

Don't really see why people don't understand the story... it wasn't the greatest but i understand what they were after. And as already said... great effects and extra points for robots and tech that looked like they actually were working machines!

I agree.Especially since, it was such a small team 9-12 peoples) and about 9months from start to finish, where bulk of the work went to fixing and developing the software. They've got all of my respect.

VFX were pretty sweat considering they used Open source software and a low budget. Acting and story was meh. But good stuff overall :)

really enjoyed that, some awesome concepts, found the story a little confusing but maybe that's just me!

You beat me to it, I was going to post it. :)To embed you have to use the ... embed tag on youtube's page.I'm not sure I understood the story but VFX and CGI are pretty bad ass. Hats off to Blender Foundation for successfully showing off Blender capabilities.
