Speaking as a CG artist, I think creating stop-motion like ParaNorman and Coraline is much much more difficult than creating CG. Just looking at this... I can't wait to see this film.

An insane level of patience to do stop motion but the result must be very rewarding (if the audience appreciates it)

This looks amazing! When I worked on a stop-motion animated TV series I saw all the problems and difficult things that you have to deal with in this medium. Laika has done a brilliant job of not only overcoming those difficult tasks, they've stepped up the game of professional stop-motion animation to a whole new level. I can't wait to see this movie.
