@Robber - jokers like you; "unbiasly appreciating" rubbish like this is the reason we'll never see real quality animation by anyone but the big three; you keep lying to yourselves and to them.
This is the biggest bunch of rubbish ever animated. You actually thinking this deserves to be on this site at all as animation, is devastating. They might as well have done it in Poser and it is Anti-Christ brainwashing junk; mocking US "leadership?!" Things that must be are depicted true, but the animation quality is trash. You might as well put Superbook up as innovative if you are going to count this trash as good animation. You can't be that blind!!
You my friend didnt get the point. As this website is called 3d...total forums this is the correct place to post this. You might not agree with its content but this nevertheless was some nicely put down visual style and more than decent animation. Comparing this to Poser is just an unfounded, angry and frankly dumb comment. There, I loved it.

Well, first time i saw it lot of feelings come to my mind but second time i begin to connect meannings, i dont think that there is a pro-christian message or kind of.. We must to assume that although christian church and priests and followers of them have a way to put in practice the "Jesus's message" that make a lot of pain around the wolrd (the anubis boat that let everything destroyed behind it), this "message" (believe in that character or not, just thinking in him like other book character from every reader learn something), if you put in literal practice "i'm god, i'm son of god (i'm not under god, i'm equal, like the evolution poster you can see upper Bush puppet, look for it!), i'm your brother (you are son of god too, you are god too)" the world can go to a new rising (as the end, with the sun come to us). Curious see a FBI symbol in the Bin Laden Chest, Obama sad when see the knowledge (the apple) of the Classroom GIrl (Alice in wonderland look-a-like), the girl front of the tanks and how a mexico boned character make that she stop to scream (drugs may perturb the revolution),.... i can continue the whoOole day, its only my perspective, i know...

I saw this last week.I'm of two minds on this. Visually, it's just fantastic. It oozes style. In recent memory, this is easily one of the most memorable short I've seen. The hard work shows through. The music also kicks butt. Conceptually, I'm less enthusiastic about it. What first seems like commentary ultimately feels more like a series of disconnected images. It's a very disjointed narrative. The message seems to be getting lost in the jumble. Also, I feel that the use of religious imagery seems a bit heavy handed, especially near the end; more so than the political stuff. Specifically, they lay on that Judeo-Cristian stuff pretty thick by the end. Maybe, as an atheist, I'm being overly sensitive here. Like I said, visually, it rocks. It's just so pretty. I'm just not so sure that there's a coherent narrative being told. What message does exist stands as being somewhat soapbox-y. IMHO, of course.
