So far, 2014 has also featured stunning sci-fi masterpieces from Derek Stenning, a seamless fusion of reality and mythology with Miklós Földi horned cover image, and a look at atmospheric fantasy scenes and sci-fi landscapes.

"Contemplated signing up for so long. Don't know why I waited before signing up as this magazine offers an incredible insight to the world of 2D art. Can't wait for next release!”

– Dennis, UK

The covers of 2013 featured characters galore, heroes and villains from Charlie Bowater to designing costumes for historic characters by Markus Lovadina. Pyeongjun Parks also showed us how to create femme-fatales, while Romanov Pavel embarked upon his Viking adventure by displaying how to create textures and paint materials on Viking warriors.

For good measure, sci-fi engines also jetted in to the scene, with exoskeletons and a terrific sci-fi concept from Benoit Godde.
Characters galore!

2012 was an epic year of creativity for 2dartist. Featuring a wide range of styles, from fairytales to manga, and historical figures like Cleopatra and Joan of Arc.

These devilish little piggies for issue 74 cover by Blaz Porenta was a particular highlight.

The 2011 covers were a varied bunch, with some ever popular pin-up girls by Serge Birault for May, June and August. We also enlisted the caricature master Jason Seiler for the cover of Issue 63.

Elsewhere, there were folklorish creatures, barbaric warriors and some massive sci-fi vehicles, from Simon Dominic Brewer, Jon McCoy and Levi Hopkins respectively.
