Creatures and characters marched across our covers in 2010, a year which included our celebration of 5 years of Digital Art Masters with this cover by Rebeca Puebla. Somewhere between the monsters we also managed to squeeze in a couple of environment studies!

"The best 3D magazine!”

- Antonio Padilla, Mexico

The year that chalked off 50 issues! 2009 also marked a change in style, with June's issue being the last to feature our old front-cover style. Is it a man? Or a beast? You had to read the issue to find out! We also had females on 4 of our covers... among the werewolves, aliens, monsters and robots.

"Indispensable (and cool!) information for those who just started and those who are already professionals”

- Daniel Fonseca de Moura, Brazil

We're back in 2008 and you'd think you'd spot a decline in quality, some shortfall here and there from the software's limitations – but none of it! There are some great faces featuring on these covers, as well as some incredible hard-surface models.

It feels like we've come full circle since 2007 when Loïc 'e338' Zimmermann featured on the December cover and now we're publishing his book! We also had caped crusaders, pirates, spiderman and a sultry firefighter! Hot stuff!

"3dcreative is the best magazine about computer graphics that I read. I love the mix between professional works and tutorials. This is very challenging for a beginner like me. Usually, 1 month is not enough for me to try each tutorial and to study all the artists' works and techniques. So, I use each magazine for a long, long time!!!”

- Sebastien Doncker, Paris, France

2005 was such a short year – the year all this began! – that we've bundled them up with 2006. Check out our very first cover below. Nearly 10 years ago and the quality is still the same; nothing but exemplary work from our wonderful community of artists. 2006 also featured a myriad of different themes and styles on the covers, click here to take a look!

"I think the magazine is fantastic, no doubt about that. Most up-to-date information on what is happening in the 3D world. Articles are jam-packed with information and there are helpful tutorials that cover the latest and greatest 3D applications on the planet. I really like the interviews on artists and their work, their inspiration and how they got to where they are today. Even better is that you can view the mag in high-resolution, so you can really check out the details in the work that people have done"

- Dean Banfield, Hamilton, Australia
