Notes:
An image that we did as an advertisement, created by Paim Comunicacao to promote the studio, featured in Lurzer's Archive magazine. Each illustration of the campaign was to depict one of our (then) three main fronts: artistic, cartoon and hyperrealism. The idea was to make something that would appear realistic but was originally from fantasy. Pinocchio was chosen as the ideal candidate for this piece because of his nature that was very similar to the concept. Everything was designed and made by us, including the chart in the background and the paint labels' text.

Hi, thanks for the comments!

NinthJake, I also agree with you, the bump ended a bit too strong.

We used mental ray for all renders.

Very cool image! "I'm not a liar" said Pinocchio. :)

That's cool. I think the bump map on the hat is a little bit over the top but all in all it's a really nice image :) Also I am curious what you used to render the scene, was it vray, mental ray, cycles?

Hi!

Thanks, we did almost every model in the scene with Blender, including Pinocchio. Some, then, went to ZBrush for refining. Other objects were created directly in Max.
