This guy is one of four characters in "The Fine Diner", a modeling project I started back in school. Each character is a human/sea creature hybrid and he's the head chef at the diner.
He's the first one I've textured and rendered so far, but I can't make any promises that I'll go back to the others and do it as well :) Hope you enjoy this one.

Software used: Maya for the base mesh, sculpted in ZBrush and textured in Mari. Then I brought it all into 3ds Max and rendered with Vray. Post was done in Photoshop (color changes, levels, sharpening, etc.)
