This is a character of The Spiderwick Chronicles, based on the art of Tony Diterlizzi. I used zbrush for details and maya for finish, mental ray for render and photoshop for textures.

That's awesome, I've never seen a mermaid with the shrimp/prawn tail before. Really it makes more sense anyway, looks great.
