I understand the comments about accentuating feminine features but I disagree. I think your vision is spot on: the feminine pose in particular. The subtle details of the suit design, the proportions and even the colour portray enough femininity. There's no need for the suit to have moulded lady bumps. Her thighs portray strength beyond the basic protection of the suit giving a stronger sense of potential action rather than a slender calendar model. I compared your picture with Iron Man's version of the pose before I started writing. Now I'm going to have to find a picture of Iron Pepper.

If you do end up making a second version, you should definitely make the hair just a little bit blonder as if the "iron maiden" is Pepper in armor :-)

Thanks guys. I updated the first post with WIP images.

But I would change hair - it is a "structural weakness" and she definitely loose them in battle. I suggest to cover them with some flexible armour or something like that.

I really love this, but for me to really sell it as a female version, there are several area's that need refining/adjusting.... the chest plate needs to become a breast plate.... it doesn't have to be blatant in the boobage dept but there needs to be a feminine effect there, the hips & thighs need to be more slender and contoured again for that feminine look, and the backside probably needs to be more shapely.... look at Scarlet Johannsen's perfectly formed bottom in The Avengers film for reference. (or don;t..... just look at it for the hell of it as it's flawless). As for the helmet I like the hair but if you made the mouth area smaller and the eyes narrower and maybe a cheek bones effect inbetween that would give a feminine look too.I understand your done with this version and maybe a version 2 in the future could utilize all our comments. As for modelling, texturing & lighting they are awesome and very very well done! A really cool concept.

Gotta agree with what's been said about hair. It doesn't fit the model IMHO. Rest of the model is pretty good!
SgtHK (Forums) on Mon, 30 April 2012 10:14am
Thanks guys. But I'm pretty much done with this baby girl. In a true Iron Man fashion maybe I'll make a Mark II version of this suit in the near future. @AstroAJ: Yeah because the hair was just painted in :DPS: I added the wires as promised.

+1 with zenman, add some breast shape. Also, you should add some detail on the head, showing that the head's system should be different for a woman
ZenMan (Forums) on Fri, 27 April 2012 4:55pm
Give her more of a breast shape, it looks right now as a very effeminate male. Give her some of these and all will be forgiven. Also do you know Cyrax from Mortal Kombat the character? Maybe add hair like that, mechanical wire type looks very cool. Real hair like this would get caught on on the crevices of the metal and be ripped off not to mention during battle she would end up being bold pretty quick. Great work over all just needs some minor changes. =)
AstroAJ (Forums) on Fri, 27 April 2012 4:34pm
Brilliant work mate. My only crit would be that the hair still doesn’t feel as though it is attached to the back of the head.
