Thanks for the input guys, after reading the post about the grenade paddle I almost shot myself :D I spent too much time worrying about lighting.

Just a thought*: The action would be more intense if the grenade, being thrown, lever arm should flip off to ignite the fuse iside(that 5-6 second timer) and add a slight amount of smoke. Research this as I feel it would add more life.

Why is he throwing an unarmed grenade? I know the pin was pulled, but the grenade is far enough away that the paddle should have flipped.
On the bright side it looks amazing, but I would focus on blending the obscenely ludacris (comics characters) with as much real world realism as possible.
