This is an image I did about 3 years ago, but while I liked the idea, I didn't liked the result I got then, so I removed it from my galleries. I saw the old image a few weeks ago, and decided it would be a good idea to redo it, so I tweaked a few things on the model, and did new textures, hair and lights, and here's the result.
Done in Zbrush, 3ds Max, Mental Ray and Hair-farm.
Hope you like it!
LostSoul (Forums) on Fri, 25 February 2011 7:46pm I remember the original and while this is much improved over the previous one, one of the same aspects that I felt wasn't working is still here. She still looks like a super-imposed full sized person.I'm not sure what would fix that to be honest. I think it has more to do with how little there is in the scene to give a proper sense of scale. Though, one thing that did occur to me is that SSS isn't likely to produce the same visual results on something so much smaller.Don't get me wrong, technically and artistically it looks great but as far as the subject idea you're trying to convey not as much.
