this is my latest 3d work, this knight-errant is come from my heart,I'd like to call him as Kong.
Kong is a wandering swordsman, an knight-errant, tramp in desert area (like Dunhuang) ,help people to fight bandit , he has a strong sense of justice and ready to help the weak, He is a very persistent man, Nothing can stop his step on the way to looking for his life meaning.
I use 3dsmax to make the base model and then adding details in zbrush, after sculpting, I create normal and displacement maps, and apply these maps to lower poly models in 3ds max . rendering with mentalray and vray, final composited in photoshop. hope you like ,thank you !

The image really tells a story :)

Really awesome scene!All the modelling and rendering looks really cool except maybe the horse's which looks more like skin, but I understand the computing limits of course... ;)
