As an old adventure gamer I made this picture in my spare time. Modeled, shaded and rendered with 3dsmax and Vray.

Absolutely great.There is no tell...all #D scenes have an area that says hey I was rendered from a 3D APP. I bet if you posted this without telling anyone it was 3D max they would never figure it out.Great Job!

Ahh memories, in 1991 I had an Amiga and played all those games, especially the Sierra ones :).

Wow! Amazing stuff. I've been showing my friends this and I'm having a hard time convincing some of them that it's entirely CG! Hahah. Any chance of a tutorial? Or a forum post with some wires?

It'd be great to see quite how much goes into making something so real!

Wow, even the DeLorean looks so realistic in the poster.. So realistic that you've gotten the Alone in the Dark box from the year 1992 to the image with it :) Very nice work!

I'm loving these style of scenes, i'm very tempted to re-make my snes scene and update it as I made that several years ago. Really great scene, wonderful textures and great warm and subtle lighting. I particularly love the post it for dos lol I did that myself on an IMB 486 with Monkey Island & Beneath a steel sky. Fantastic memories.Great stuffKind Regards,CG.
