I don't think the face needs "emotion" this IS . Farnsworth lost in thought!
Great Job right down to the Moles and liver spots it's terrific!

This is amazing. No matter the critisizm, I think it greatly reflects the professor, when hes usualy just standing in a single place not saying anything, "ohh my yes..." i would love to see the rest of the cast done up!

I dont knwo how this image nmake it to 3d total needs a lot of work , very mediocre wrinkles , and not realistic at all , skin shader real bad , expressions real bad , but i think the worst is the wrinkles it seems that he puts cloth seems and folds into a skin and the cloth is very different from the skin , you can see at the first time you see the picture that has a big problem , the head is awfull textured , the only good thing is cloth i think this person needs a lot of study and hear critics and apply to his studies that needs a lot . you see the problem here is the face not the props or cloth .

Wait, Inveni0's an elitist snob? Am I on the correct forum?Harold, if you're going to accuse someone of being a snob, first find someone who's being a snob. Critique≠Snobbery

You can always count on some internet elitist snob to mock perfectly good work.
The "lack of emotion" is entirely appropriate for this character and this piece and I think any fan of Futurama would agree. Farnsworth spends the overwhelming majority of his time on screen with no emotion on his face!
And OK, maybe the skin shader doesn't meet your demanding standards but to dismiss the entire piece on that criteria is a pretty good indication that you're not looking at this the way it was meant to be seen.
Anyway, congratulations Carlos. You totally nailed the real life Farnsworth!
Skin shader needs a lot of work. The concept is interesting, but there's no emotion in the face. The lack of emotion coupled with the crumby shader makes this another "what?" gallery image.
Couldn't agree more...
