The textures were recreated in photoshop using the original photo as reference. this is the first render that's been accepted on to the gallery as my aim was to get close results to original.

This is the first render I have submitted to this website. I did make from an image of cg textures to mainly test my texturing work. No camera mapping was used. The textures were recreated in photoshop.

Its a great job, great render. Good job.

I have to say I agree with Manly Stump.
The quality of the render is gorgeous, nice old photo look and the shop itself is great but the bottom third seems almost unfinished. Like where the drain pipe meets the grass on the left and the plain building on the right. It's a shame because it lets down what is potentially a stunningly crafted image.

Miams just gave you the best compliment you could get, not seeing the difference between a projected photo and your render.

If it's in 3D, it's just a camera mapping. I find exactly the same image on cgtextures.com. Ok, you clean the window, not very hard...

big up the Warrington massiv!Very nice. The long thinner sign looks a little too perfect, great image overall

I hate to say it, but the bottom third of the picture lets down the top two thirds. The road and pavement (sidewalk if you're American) just doesn't look as believable as the shop itself.

Very good! I love the grime look. I thought this was from "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs" at first.

Very realistic at first sight, however when you look more closely the edges of the buildings are too perfect - like the line where the building meets the pavement - and the white building on the right seems to be just a plain untextured box with no irregularities, which looks a bit odd.
