This is obviously a close-up of the nurse robot chick. 12100 tris, a 2048x2048 map for the armor and a 1024x1024 map for the body. I could have a better result with bigger maps but i wanted to stay low on resolution.

Mostly lain metal and reds what I see... Might have worked. But I understand what you mean :). Plus as you say the uv channels might not be supported...

Well tiling was not my option since each part of the armor was severed differently and the color is not uniform.Yeah you're right, I could have used 2 uv channel to obtains better results but I know this is not supported by every game engine and my goal was to make a piece that is video-game engine friendly

If you have troubles with the resolution on your textures you could always try to tile them as much as possible ;).If possible one could always have another map on top (lower res) with another uv set (same UVs though) that gives some color differences between the different parts...Cool model btw ;)

its hard modeling with nurms subdivisions, entirely in 3ds max. Im experimenting with Zbrush's polish tools just right now though! I prefer Zbrush that's for sure!

The armor high res is great, is the details of the armor is hard modeling or did you sculpt it?Anyway great work there.;)

Thanks for the comments guys!About the resolution, it's all because I wanted to stay in the map resolution budget given in the video-game industry since this piece was meant to be part of a video-game portfolio.The highest resolution I saw was with Unreal where the used 2 maps of 2048 so I went down a little bit and used a map of 1024 and one of 2048. So like in video-games, the resolution will suffer for the benefits of the frame rate, and it's the same reason why I limited myself to 12100 polys.I kinda shot myself in the foot with a close-up render since it shows all the pixels, but I felt there were interesting stuff to show too!

Armour design looks pretty similar to the N0X-2292 (Dom War 4 winner), rib cage is a little prominent and looks like you've used the same metal base for all the silver pieces. Hand painting the metal will give each piece a much more unique look.Other than those the Hi and Low look good, generally a good piece.

Beautiful work man! Love the overall design, and the pose is quite good.I'd say the only thing holding it back a bit is the skin shader, still feels a little too plastic like. But working around with realtime lighting/rendering can be challenging in that respect. Great job!

Really, really nice. I am digging the hard surface modeling :)Although I think that you need higher resolution textures. It shows pretty badly at the scratches in the close-up. The textures themselves are good though.Really amazing piece, I would have loved to see that weapon as well :D

I'm agreeing with inveni0 too many times for my taste..Anyway, good work. The skin texture could use some more work on the SSS, as it looks a bit plastic now. Apart from that, great model!

Nudity was just to help the clich of the character. My goal was to create the typical sexy nurse... BUT IN SPACE!!!
