I really like the raw render but in post you've really brought out the woods like hulahuga mentions., I love this scene very good indeed, can't stop looking at it :)

You are right about sunny day, maybe that gave him additional motivation to escape.Tarik2d, C2theG ... 3DS Max with VRay. There is sunlight, 3 portal lights and one custom area light on the left side of the image ... this one gives that nice white specular on the wood.

You've done a superb job with this from modelling to texturing and lighting, the variations of wood textures used and the DOF is just gorgeous, very very good work :)
