Notes:

"Papageno" from Mozart. The man who catches the birds. This is a 3D/2D illustration. I've been inspired by the old master painting and Caravaggio for the character. My main focus was the texture and the environment. It took 1 month, with concept, and referencing. I've worked a lot between Maya and Zbrush, textured in Mudbox and pushing the illustration details in photoshop. I did the matte paint in Photoshop too.

My respects to you! Very inspiring and outstanding piece! Maybe in the near future, could you show a break down of your scene? like what's 3d and what's 2d? At 1st i thoughtit was all 2d. Really love the entire final result.About gaga...she is not THAT fuggly....maybe that' y she wears the huge glasses..ive never really seen her face till now.
