This is in the gallery? I didn't read anyone else's comments, but this really needs work. Not gallery standards, at all.

Sorry to hear people aren't loving this as a final image; we too love the concept of the junk ship above all else, and we did discuss the lighting and composition with Taehoon and decided that we would like to publish it in our gallery after some tweaks. I'm sorry not everyone agrees with the decision; we do value your feedback and we can appreciate your thoughts - that's what these threads are here for, after all. Cheers :)

Don't get me wrong here. I think the idea its cool. Having this sort of steampunk crazy ass ship concept is interesting, but as you said, the execution and composition seems rushed, specially coming from such a talented artist.Overall, I don't think its a gallery worth image, when compared to its peers.

Damnit DD! It's all your fault you know, now I can't look at it without noticing the backgrounds lack of depth and the ships blurry edges and mishmash look... I first saw it and thought "that is a space ship? What a hunk of junk," which immediately made me like the scrapped together look of it, now I can't look at it without thinking that it is too busy and lacking a strong silhouette. I can see the artists intentions with it, but the execution isn't as strong as I would have expected from Taehoon... I still like it though.

Being a fan of taehoon's work as I am, I have to admit I would never expect such an image to feature in the 3DT gallery. I think it lacks substance and composition, the light and background pretty flat and the model itself, despite the obvious technical complexity, its a bit confuse.Just my two cents anyway.
