Software: 3ds max, VRay. This is a project I have been working on for the best part of 5 or 6 months. Its a cg visualisation of Kawasakis Ninja ZX10r motorcycle and I did it to improve my modelling and rendering skills. Modelling done using poly subdivision surfaces mainly and used only photo reference for all my work.
It was extremely fun to do and I loved the challenge of modelling such a complex piece of machinery to the best of my abilities.
I am very happy with how it turned out but of course there are many things that still need to be fixed, which due to my limited time towards the end of the project were simply forgotten about or not tweaked enough.
Some stats: Polycount: 5.2 million (thank god for vray proxy...;)). Render time: Averages about 5-6 hours for the 1600/1200 renders. Object Count: 653 seperate meshes.
Well thats about it hope you enjoy looking at these renders as much as I do...:)
