It's great to see something that's been used in a commerical game. I love the Splinter Cell games so rich in detailing, storylines and action, superb :)
I mean the leftmost track and the track to the right of it.
Well, they are both at the same level, I guess it's a visual effect !@Nitroliq :Thanks ! Yes, it was more inspired than replicated :)It's wide because it was made for a cinematic and they needed a lot of space for the characters, cameras...Anyway, the tunnel in the last picture is very similar to the tunnel seen in "Money Train", but it was a set especially built for the movie (about 1km long) and located in Los Angeles. So yeah, it was supposed to take place in New York, but with some more spectacular proportions.About the seats, I re-used a model I did for an architectural project (I was in a rush to finish the station...)

Great modeling, texturing and lighting. My only critique would be only if you were trying to replicate an actual NYC subway....the platforms are usually about half as wide, with the stairs centered and the seats are usually wooden benches and not as close together. Tunnels aren't that high and wide, either. Each track is usually framed pretty tightly to the width of the train. If you're just doing something "inspired", then feel free to ignore. Here's a photo of the actual "Grand St." subway terminal:http://centurycafe.com/images/CC-NYC/Grand-Street-Station.jpgHere's another one that shows typically how wide/high the tracks usually are:http://smackamack.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/nyc_subway-799270.jpg

@MStandard : Thanks a lot !@hulahuga : Thanks ! The glows are from the Max post-render glow effects, not the most powerful tool for glows, but very quick to setup when dealing with a lot of lightsources. What do you mean the two tunnels ? Everything is at the same level, maybe too much :)

The last pic looks amazing, really good use of glow effects there (study it people!!!).Perspective between the two tunnels doesn't really seem to follow the same lines however.. Might be that they are supposed to elevate differently, in that case no problem ;).Real cool either way.

The textures and shaders look way cool :D. The differences of the marble works real well and prevents to much of a stillness.Agreeing with Tjerk about the chairs though. Coolness!

It looks very good. Only the blue chairs look a bit too cg and too copied to me. The rest is really great.

Exactly what I thought when I saw it, just like the Matrix scene. Well I gotta say this looks absolutely photorealistic to me, the use of light is perfect and your texturing is incredibly good :) Well done, love it! Would seriously love to see a making of for this image or at the very least an image breakdown, can we see your wireframes and clays aswell. This is top notch work!
