This is a portrait of my lovely wife, Jennifer. I've always wanted to make a 3D model of her and so I went ahead and did it! I modelled and unwrapped her initially in 3ds Max, took her into ZBrush, and sculpted details and worked on the likeness from there. I used both polypaint and Photoshop to paint the textures. Once this was to my liking, I took the scene back into 3ds Max and made the hair and eyebrows with Hair/Fur (shave and haircut). I rendered the hair scanline and the rest with Mental Ray and fast SSS. Photoshop was used for colour correction, minor detailing and extra hair work.
