Making
of Sadmike by Nikola Drincic I
just draw that head of the creature I later called
SadMike (on the left). It would be nice to model it
in Max, so I draw a side look (at the right) to help
mi with the modeling process. It would be lot more
easier to model if I had a front and top look of the
head.

start with the spline line tool (linear creation not
smooth) by drawing the outer and inner shapes of the
mouth. Then I join the splines together and convert
it into a flat polygon.
Making

sure you have splines to that are making surfaces
of 3 or 4 splines. We do that, because will use the
Surface modifier that will create a patch where it
finds 3 or 4 splines intersecting each other.
