Judges Comments:

Tom-3DT: A perfect example of what this challenge is all about, excellent characterization, modelling and texturing. A winner in my opinion!

Chrip-3DT: This is proving to be a popular one here in the studio, and I would have included it into my top 3 but I felt that Pixar was over used in this challenge, to be honest, an easy one to mix with another film. Saying all this, the overall outcome of your submission is quality and really funny.

ClassicGamer-3DT: From the start with this creation I knew that we were in for something great. The characterisation of Don Corleone is brilliant. The likeness is spot on in both how i'd personally like to see this character portrayed in a Pixar movie but also with the similiarities of Pixar characters also. The texturework is subtle and effective, the hair could use some tweaking here and there for my taste but overall the character looks superb! The sculpting is really nicely done you didn't go over the top with the details, which in my opinion could have ruined the character. The chair and the pose is very well done as is the knowing look that the character has. This is presented very cleanly and very simply but is so very effective and more importantly this actually looks like a Pixar character which in my opinion is not an easy task to achieve, this is an excellent entry and well done.

Simon-3DT: Really funny and cool as well. You sefinitely achieved what you set out to do. Any other month and this could of been up in the top 3, just missed out due to the quality of the other entrants.

BlueSummers-3DT: Whereas our judging criteria is to take the content of one movie and mash it up with the style of another movie, this work demonstrates technically superior results. The subject and style are clear and executed with precision. The modeling is crisp, effects are used judiciously, and the texturing is the right blend of realism and illustration.

BiG ToE-3DT: The character is just fantastic, fits the pixar style quite well. Loving the chair, pose and lighting. Textures help push it over the top. The hair in the front, top of the head could use some candle light loving, but other than that, nice overall piece of art.

Freespace-3DT: Now that I've seen this image, this is pretty much the only way I'd want to see a cartoon version of the Godfather. You've taken some cues from Pixar's Up, and applied them to Don Corleone, and it works! I think the eyes could have used more attention, they've still got the ghost effect that too often plagues 3d characters (mine are no exception). What I would have loved to see here is a few more characters next to him, see how you Pixarize each of them and hold true to their movie personality, and this might have become my top favorite.

Rich-3DT: Definitely a good model and nicely textured. Again it captures a likeness from both films and almost made my top three.
