19: Backlight Curve:



Start by drawing a curve with the shape of a backlight .


20: Duplicate Curve:



Now duplicate the curve, move it forward and scale it by 15%.

21: Make Circle:



Create two circles of the same size of our light and loft them together.

Here are the two pieces we will use to take care of the backlight.

Here we have it, a nice transition between the two surfaces.

24: Trim:




Select the last two CV's and move them forward so they reach the end of the surface and then trim.
