13: Extrude:



Select the curve from the fillet and do a distance extrude.

Here we have it, the lower back bumper is done. Now let’s move to the top part.

15: Duplicate Surface Curve:



Duplicate the last isoparm on the surface. Scale it and loft the curve to the isoparm.

16: Attach Surface:




Use these options to attach the two surfaces together.

Here we have it, a nice transition between the two surfaces.

18: The trunk:



For this part of the car we have to create a common geometry. The reason for this is because the backlight moves from the back body of the car into the trunk. We have to make sure there is a nice blend between the two parts.
