- "Making of the Hagia Sophia" by Juan J. Gonzales Diaz
The idea to make this work come from an old drawing of Hagia Sophia published in a book. I want to make
a image ussing imagination, far from my normal technical work, so i dont use any other photographic or
techincal references. All modelling, layout and render has been made ussing Lightwave 7.5 without any
special plugin. . .

"Crustation" by Ben Chung
This is an overview of the steps taken in making this scene, or any scene using Lightwave 3D 7.5, Photoshop, and 3D Total's Texture CD's. I won't go into too much detail in any particular part, well maybe uv mapping
because I couldn't find too many tutorials for that in lightwave :) . . .
"Backyard" by Christian Waadt
My little tutorial covers the texturing process of my backyard scene.
Of course I will not deal with everything - no one would read the whole story :)
"Water Drop Tutorial" by Gerardo
Estrada
This
tutorial assumes you have the basic knowledge of the
software you are working with. It's meant to be a
walkthrough of one technique to recreate the effect
of a drop falling into a water tank, rather than a
detailed
step-by-step tutorial. . .

"Modelling Nissan 350 Z" by Jay Soriano
This
tutorial is suitable for beginners to intermediate
users of Lightwave 3d and im assuming that the basic
knowledge from the software is at your hand. The procedure
will also work on different package such as Maya and
Max so other users may apply this techniques. .

"Modelling the Gokstad-Ship with splines" by Karl Stocker
Be
reasonably close, but don't get paranoid about the
accuracy. All Viking ships were built one at a time,
in different areas, usually for some rich Nordic land
owner, and by different shipwrights. Probably no two
were
ever identical. . .

"Creating Plants and Flowers" by Chris
MacDonald
In
this tutorial, I hope to demonstrate how easy it is
to create detailed flowers and plants that will add
a great
deal to an image (assuming the image calls
for them, of course). This tutorial requires a thorough
awareness
of the tools in Lightwave and Photoshop
as well as a basic knowledge of how to use them. .

"Age
with dignity...and lots of polys!" by Dave
Maas
This
is a Detail-up modeling technique to create an ear.
Detail-up implies specifically detailing geometry
for defined regions, then building them together to
form one full mesh.
"How to Combine a Photo and a CG Object" by Da Duke!
There
are different ways to build a hdr image. Fisheye or
mirror ball. If you want to use a camera with a
wide
angle lens you must take many photos and stitch them
together.
A
Self Made Man by Dave Maas
The
techniques spoken of here work with subpatch polygon
techniques as applied to Lightwave 3D v 7.5, but
are relevant to other software packages as well.
There
are many different ways of doing the same task,
and it's
more important to convey the principals
involved, how to approach a task, etc.
"OW

A
must see tutorial for any lightwave user - covering
so many aspects which superb artwork

following article describes the making of a 20 sec.
commercial i did for the above mentioned company,

Fantasy
Letter by Erik Brimstedt
Okay, we'll do a tutorial on heavy texturing now,
turning a simple flat plane with a bunch of polygons
into
an old piece of paper with handwriting on it.
50% of the work will be done in Photoshop, and there's
where
we'll start
